Blue leather journal with Gold tooled decoration in diamond pattern and Gauffered edges - La Vie en Bleu

This medium size journal is bound in rich blue leather and decorated by gold tooling. It has an elegant classic and luxurious look. Some black accents were painted by hand to add contrast to the diamond pattern.

The journal has gauffered edges wit the same diagonal pattern and small rhombuses on a gold painted background. 

The book measures 4.7 x 6.8 inches (12 x 17.5 cm). It is filled with Favini Shiro Alga paper, an ecological paper produced from algae in Venice Lagoon. The seaweed particles are visible on the surface to give a unique natural look and its ivory color makes it fit perfectly the overall old feel of this book. The paper has 120 gsm, and it will hold well ink, dip pens, gel and ball pens, markers and any dry media. 

The endpapers are made of hand marbled paper with blue and yellow veins.
