Green leather journal with gold painting and tooled decoration, The Eye of the Universe

This square format blank book is bound in grey-green leather with antique finish.  The decoration was made with black tooled lines and gold painting of the diamond pattern on both the front and back cover. The center features an astrological theme, with the zodiac symbols circled around the Eye of the Universe.

The book measures 7 x 7.8 inches (17.5 x 19.5 cm). It has 110 pages (220 sides) of Favini Laguna artist paper with parchment finish. This paper is acid free, hand-torn, has 180 gsm and will work for writing and sketching in any media, even watercolor.

The endpapers are made of decorative paper with green floral elements and coat of arms on a cream background. The headbands are hand-sewn from black and gold thread.
