Tooled Leather Journal, Brown Leather, Thick Notebook - Sacred Paths

This hardcover journal is made of natural leather dyed and antiqued by hand. I added patina and erosion to obtain this antiqued look, to make the book resemble an old tome from a library. The decoration was made by tooling.

It is a thick book, filled with white Canson artist quality paper. It has 160 pages (320 sides) of hand-torn 120 gsm paper that will work for drawing, writing and sketching in ink and dry media.

The book measures 7.3 x 8.3 inches (18.5 x 21 cm).

The end pages are marbled paper. The endbands are embellishing the book at the head and the tale of the book, being hand sewn from brown and black threads.
