Heart Book - Red Leather Journal with gold tooled decoration - "With Love"

These journal is bound in a special way, in a technique that divides the front cover in two halves that open like a window to reveal the inside of the book. The binding is made in red goatskin with gold tooled decoration. The front cover decoration is so detailed as to give the impression of lace, an intricate vegetal pattern that gives it a tactile, bi-dimensional perception. The heart symbol and the edges of the books were given an antiqued finish.

The book measures 5.3x5.3 inches (13.5x 13.5 cm) and is filled with Laguna parchment like paper from Favini, 90 gsm. The paper is hand thorn, acid free and will hold well ink and dry media.

The endpages are made of hand marbled paper with red, white and black veins. The notebook is closing in front with a black leather stripe.
