Blue leather journal with gold tooled decoration and painted edges. A Small Treasure

This journal was bound in blue color goatskin with beautiful surface grain and a slight antiqued finish. The design was hand tooled in detail with gold foil, each small element at the time, reminding of a medieval tome that was found on a shelf of a library. It has the elegance and the charm of a little book with history.

The edges of the bookblock have been decorated by hand with a motif that resambles the one on the cover. It was made by gauffering a rhombus pattern, painting with blue lines and orange sprinkles. 

The notebook measures 4.5x6.3 inches (11.5 x 16 cm), has 160 pages (320 sides) and is filled with hand torn Keaykolour creative paper with parchment texture. The paper has a natural earthy color and 90 gsm. 

The endpapers are made of hand marbled paper with gold, orange and blue veins.

This book has the perfect size and weight to be hold. That's why I called it A Small Treasure because it feels like you're holding something wonderful and precious in your hands. Enjoy writing!
