This journal is bound in natural leather with a beautiful orange pink hue, the differences of texture being part of its nature. I designed it to have a refined elegant look and a tactile feel, using a limited variety of patterns and combining vertical with sinuous lines, reminding in its stylized simplicity of art nouveau decoration. The tooling in blind creates a fascinating effect. There is a beautiful balance between the design of the front and the back cover, which creates an effect of both growing upwards and hanging plants.
It measures 7.3x10.2 inches (18.5x26 cm). It has a total of 126 pages (252 sides) of Favini Laguna artist paper with parchment finish. This paper is acid free, hand-torn, has 180 gsm and will work for writing and sketching in any media, even watercolor.
The endpapers are made of hand marbled paper with brown and blue veins. The head bands are hand sewn from brown and beige threads.
