Grey leather journal with gold tooled decoration, Royal Mirage I

This is a large blank book bound in grey leather with green shades and antique finish.  Blind tooled lines and gold tooled dotted lines form decoartive pannels on both the front and back cover, the center being filled with a golden diamond shaped pattern. It was finished with patina to look like an old tome from a royal library.

The book measures 7.5 x 8.3 inches (18.5 x 26 cm). It has 114 pages (228 sides) of Fabriano artist paper. The paper is warm white, slightly textured, hand torn and thick, it has 200 g/m². It is acid free, perfect for writing and sketching in any media, even watercolor.

The endpapers are made of hand marbled paper, brown with black veins. The headbands are hand-sewn from black and gold thread.
