"Tree of Life and Tree of Knowledge" leather journal, light purple leather with silver tooled and white decoration

This journal was custom made according to clients proposal for the design. It is bound in purple leather varying in shades from light grey to dark purple. The theme depicted on the covers is a beautiful symbolic one inspired by a strong religious belief. The tree of life represents the afterlife, and connection between the earth and heaven. The tree of knowledge is often interpreted as a Biblical symbol of the awarness of good and evil, as responsability as well as the consequences of disobedience.

The book measures 7.5 x 8.3 inches (18.5 x 26 cm). It has 134 pages (268 sides) of artist quality paper, Modigliani Bianco. The paper is white, hand torn and has a medium thickness (140 gsm) being perfect for writing and sketching in any media, even watercolor.

The end pages are made of hand marbled paper with blue, grey and white veins. The headbands are hand sewn from silver and purple silk thread adding a plus of elegance to the journal.
