Vintage Brown Leather Notebook - Weathered

This vintage journal is made of a piece of reclaimed leather that came from an old Portuguese handbag. As all my vintage leather journals, it is one of a kind. It has a rich orange brown color and various marks and wrinkles that show its authenticity and give it the charm of a book with history. I preserved the leather just as it was in its original state, with its marks and spots, and decorating the spine in white with old style tooling.

The notebook measures 4.5x6.3 inches (11.5 x 16 cm), has around 170 pages (340 sides) and it is filled with Favini Shiro Alga paper, an ecological paper produced from algae in Venice Lagoon. The seaweed particles are visible on the surface to give a unique natural look and its ivory color makes it fit perfectly the overall old feel of this book. The paper is hand torn, has 120 gsm, and it will hold well ink, dip pens, gel and ball pens, markers and any dry media.
