Black leather journal with Hand drawn white and gold foil decoration,

This journal is bound in black leather with smooth texture. The front cover features a raised frame and two wavy raised lines devide the covers in halves. A very complex repetitive pattern of leaves and swirls was drawn by hand onto golden and white foil to create the decoration of this binding.
It is certaily a one of a kind binding, unique in its detailed decoration and it could serve as a family book, an album, a wedding guest book, a heirloom to pass to the next generations.
The notebook measures 7.2 x 10.2 inches (18.5 x 26 cm). It has 114 pages (228 sides) of Fabriano artist quality paper, warm white, slightly textured, hand torn and thick. It has 200 g/m² (for comparison, photocopy paper has 90 g/m²). It is acid free, perfect for writing and sketching in any media, even watercolor.
The headbands were sewn by hand from gold and black thread and create a beautiful model at the head and tale of the book. The endpages are marbled by me with a pattern of black and grey veins and speckles on a white background, and gold sprinkles.
