Gray Leather Journal with Sliver Heart Decoration, "Diary of a True Love"

This journal is bound in a special way, an original technique that divides the front cover in two halves that open like a window to reveal the inside of the book. The binding is made in gray leather with slightly darker shades from the patina applied around the edges. It has a elegant and empowering look. I chose this monochrome decoration which I tooled into the leather to give the impression of lace around the edges. The heart symbol is covered in silver foil. 

The book measures 5.3x5.3 inches (13.5x 13.5 cm) and is filled with Laguna parchment like paper from Favini, 90 gsm. The paper is hand thorn, acid free and will hold well ink and dry media.

The endpages are made of hand marbled paper with blue, purple and yellow veins. The notebook is closing in front with a black leather stripe.

This journal design is unique. It would make a great diary and / or a present for the one you love. It can also be an original guest book for your wedding or the secret notebook where you put down your vows.
