Brown leather journal with blind tooled decoration, Tea stained pages. Dark Chocolate

This is a small leather journal bound in high quality goatskin of dark brown color. The tooled decoration creates a beautiful texture and gives this book a very tactile feel. The design was finished with patina around the edges to look aged. It is new, but has the personality and charm of a book with history. The design is tooled by hand in detail, reminding of the medieval tomes, when great care was paid to every aspect involved in the making of a book. 

This blank book measures 4.5 x 6.3 inches (18.5 x 26 cm). It has 156 pages (312 sides) of Modigliani artist quality paper, tea stained to give it an antique look. The paper is slightly textured, hand torn and has 140 g/m². It is acid free, perfect for writing and sketching in any media, even watercolor. 

The endpapers are made of hand marbled paper with red, black and brown veins. The headbands are hand-sewn from red and black thread.
