This one of a kind blank book is made of brown leather with a beautiful hand painted tones varying from brown red to sienna and dark brown. I designed it to have a medieval aspect, It is very textured and I added some golden tooled accents on the black leather spine to give it a precious look. The decoration of the cover was made by tooling the leather in blind and patina.
The book measures 9.8x7 inches (25x18 cm). It is filled with Favini Prisma artist paper, warm white, slightly textured. It has 114 pages (228 sides). This paper is acid free, hand-torn, has 160gsm and will work for writing and sketching in any media, even watercolor.
The end pages are made of hand marbled paper with black, brown, grey and beige veins. The headbands are hand sewn from gold and brown threads.
