This journal is bound in brown leather, hand tooled with a geometric rhombus pattern and a flower motif bling tooled, and some little gold tooled accents on both the covers and the spine. It has a pronounced antique finish so that it looks like a tome from an old library.
The book measures 10.2 x 7.3 inches (26 x 18.5 cm). It has 114 pages (228 sides) of artist quality paper with parchment finish. This is Favini Laguna paper, hand torn, (180g/m²) and will work for both writing and sketching in any media, including watercolor.
The end pages are made of hand marbled paper with yellow, brown and black veins. The headbands are hand sewn from brown and gold threads.
