This journal is bound in brown leather with antiqued finish. The design was hand tooled onto the leather each small element at the time to give this book the look and feel of an old medieval tome. It has beautiful shades of brown that remind of the tones of autumn.
This is a large journal, it has 10.2 x 7.3 inches (26 x 18.5 cm). It is filled with artist quality paper and has 150 pages (300 sides). This is white Modigliani paper, slightly textured, hand torn and thick, 140g/m². It is acid free, perfect for writing and sketching in any media, even watercolor. In case you want to use this as a sketchbook, the paper is chlorine-free so your artwork will be safe from aging inside it.
The endpapers are made of hand marbled paper with red, yellow and beige veins on a green background. The headbands are hand sewn from brown and green silk thread and make a beautiful decoration at the head and tale of the book.
