This journal is bound in natural leather, the shades and differences of texture being part of its nature. I designed it to have a fresh summer feel, using floral patterns combined with sprinkles and green shades. The tooling is a light brown shade which combines perfectly with this theme.
The book measures 7 x 10 inches (18 x 25 cm). It has 130 pages (260 sides) and is filled with Favini Tree Free paper (120 gsm) which is made 75% from bamboo and 25% from cotton. These high quality fibers give a smooth and natural look as well as a soft finish. This paper is acid free and it will hold well ink and dry media.
The edges of this journal were painted with a floral pattern on a light green background. The endpapers are made of hand marbled paper with brown, grey and ocher veins.
