This journal is bound in natural leather, the shades and differences of texture being part of its nature. I designed it to have a warm earthy feel, I wanted to capture that moment in time where nature is slowly returning to life after a cold long winter. I added patina around the edges to give it an old-soul presence, like a book that has absorbed time itself. I used floral patterns combined with sprinkles and green shades. The tooling is a light brown shade which combines perfectly with this theme.
The book measures 6x8.5 inches (15.5x21.5 cm). It has 90 pages (180 sides) and is filled with artist quality paper, Favini Prisma, ivory white color, blank, 160 g/m². The paper is slightly textured, hand torn and works for any media including watercolor. It is acid free and does not bleed through.
The endpapers are made of hand marbled paper with brown, yellow and orange veins.
