This old looking journal has the cover made of vintage brown leather with patina and various scars and marks, carrying the charm of a book with history. The decoration of the cover is simple - a double line and a few copper accents, in order to allow the beautiful aged texture to show through. The spine was tooled with copper foil, which I found so suitable in color to pair the beautiful rich orange brown of the cover.
The journal measures 7.5 x 8.3 inches (18.5 x 26 cm). It has a total of 114 pages (228 sides) of of Favini Laguna artist paper with parchment finish. This paper is acid free, hand-torn, has 180 gsm and will work for writing and sketching in any media, even watercolor.
The endpapers are made of hand marbled paper in earthy tones. The headbands were handsewn from black, brown and copper metallic thread.
