This journal was bound in deep midnight blue goatskin with beautiful surface grain and a slight antiqued finish. The design was done with gold foil and depicts golden scarabs and delicate celestial speckles. Each small element was carefully tooled at a time, reminding of a little sacred tome that was found on a shelf of a library. It has the charm of a book with history and evokes ancient symbolism, alchemy, and quiet magic.
The notebook measures 4.7x6 inches (12x15cm), has 110 pages (220 sides) and is filled with hand torn Keaykolour creative paper with a light parchment texture. The paper has a natural beige color and 90 gsm.
The endpapers are made of hand marbled paper with yellow, orange, brown and blue veins. The headbands were hand sewn with gold and blue threads.
This book has the perfect size and weight to be hold. That's why I called it A Small Treasure because it feels like you're holding something wonderful and precious in your hands. Enjoy writing!
