This notebook is made of natural leather (undyed) that was sealed and slightly antiqued around the edges. The marks and the color hues are part of the organic nature of the leather material. I designed this journal to have a natural look, the decoration creating a texture and a tactile experience. It was made by blind tooling each element at a time.
The notebook measures 4.7x6.3 inches (12x16 cm) and has 150 pages (300 sides) of Conqueror Connoisseur 100% Cotton, butter white paper. The paper is hand thorn, acid free and will hold well ink and dry media.
The headbands are handsewn from brown and gold metalic threads and make a beautiful model at the tale and head of the journal. The endpapers are made of marbled paper with brown, ocher and blue veins.
