This old looking journal is made of a worn piece of leather from an old handbag. It is vegetable tanned and shows the marks of authenticity. It has a rich brown color and the charm of a book with history. The decoration of the covers was kept to a minimum to allow the character and the passage through time of this piece to show. Contrasting, the spine was decorated with detailed foil tooling in the old style, to suit the rest of this notebook.
The book measures 4.8 x 7.6 inches (12.2 x 19.3 cm). It has 170 pages (340 sides) of Favini Laguna writing paper with parchment finish. This paper is acid free, hand-torn, has 90 gsm and will work for writing in ink and dry media.
The endpapers are made of hand marbled paper with a colored circles pattern. The headbands is made from black leather tooled with gold lines.
