This old little journal is made of a very worn piece of leather that came from an old handbag. As all my vintage leather journals, it is one of a kind. Its patina and wear give it the charm of a book with history. I preserved the leather of the cover just as it was in its original state but I enhanced the spine area by extensive tooling with gold foil on black leather.
It measures 3x5.5 inches (7.6x14 cm) and is filled with 150 pages (300 sides) of Favini Laguna writing paper with parchment finish. This paper is acid free, hand-torn, has 90 gsm and will work for writing in ink and dry media.
The endpapers are made of hand marbled paper with a brown, yellow and black veins. The headbands are made from black leather tooled with gold lines.
This journal has a lot of character and will make a beautiful addition to your books collection. I hope you will enjoy!
