Hand Marbled Leather Journal, Worn brown with gold tooled decoration, Always Remember

This old looking journal is made of a beautiful and unique piece of leather that was hand marbled in the style called Pasta Espanola, a very traditional method used in bookbinding in Spain starting with the 16th century. This journal is one of a kind. Its patina and wear give it the charm of a book with history.

The notebook measures 6.5 x 8.3 inches (16.5 x 21 cm) and has 280 pages (560 sides). It is filled with Favini Laguna paper with traditional parchment finish, 90 gsm thick, acid free and will hold well ink and dry media.

The endpapers are made of hand marbled paper in a fine peacock pattern. The headbands are hand sewn from gold and brown threads.
