This one of a kind blank book is bound in brown leather and was decorated with a detailed tooled decoration, using white foil and different tones of brown leather dyes. The two central panels in the center of the covers appear framed by a precious lace that give this journal a refined, elegant look. It is a thick tome, and the edges have been toned with patina to give it an overall antique feel.
The notebook measures 7x10inches (18x25cm) and has a total of 156 pages (302 sides) of Favini Laguna artist paper with parchment finish. This paper is acid free, hand-torn, has 160 gsm and will work for writing and sketching in any media, even watercolor.
The end pages are made of hand marbled paper with ocher, brown and grey veins. The headbands are hand sewn from black and beige threads.
