This mini leather journal is bound in natural goat leather, decorated by tooling and painted by hand with leather paints. It was designed to resemble a small medieval tome. The decoration was tooled onto the leather with hot brass tools, each element at the time and a patina was applied to fit the overall antique look of this book.
It measures 5x5 inches (13x13 cm) and is filled with Favini Laguna with parchment finish, hand torn. Acid free, 90 gsm weight, this paper beautifully combines color and texture to give the perfect natural earthy background for your writing. It will hold well ink and dry media.
The headbands are hand sewn from brown and beige threads. The end pages are made of decorative paper with a floral motif.
