This decorative journal is bound in green goatskin and decorated in gold tooling with floral motifs that give it an old-world, nostalgic, almost Renaissance feeling. The decoration was made with heated brass tools, each element at a time.
The edges of the journal were cut straight, sanded to a perfect finish and gilded with gold foil.
The notebook measures a little over 6x8 inches (16x20.5 cm). It has 150 pages (300 sides) of Favini Laguna paper (90 gsm) with parchment finish which gives it a slightly aged natural look. The paper is good for writing, it won't bleed through and will hold well ink, pens and dry media.
