This journal is bound in ruby red leather with smooth texture and visible top grain, tooled with gold and in blind with branches and leaves that raise under a temple arcade. The edges of the journal are gilded with gold foil and then decorated again with similar motif of leaves and branches. This precious book was designed to resemble an ode to beauty, love and femininity. It is one of a kind.
The book measures 7.3x8.3 inches (18.5x21cm). It has 114 pages (228 sides) of artist paper. The paper is Favini Prisma in warm white / ivory, slightly textured, hand torn and it has 160g/m². It is acid free, perfect for writing and sketching in any media, even watercolor.
The end pages are made of hand marbled paper with red, yellow, white and black veins. The headbands were sewn by hand from grey and bright red silk threads.
